Lizanne Keenan – Lead Practice Pathway Facilitator
Lizanne Keenan is an experienced mediator, trainer and supervisor who brings over 20 years of HR and conflict resolution expertise to the Dispute Resolution Agency Practice Pathway Sessions.
An accredited workplace mediator and OCN tutor and assessor in mediation, Lizanne combines hands-on dispute resolution experience with a strong foundation in professional standards and reflective practice. She acts as a PPC (mediator supervisor), supporting practitioners in developing confidence, ethical clarity and professional depth as they build their practice.

Her background extends beyond mediation delivery. As a qualified team facilitator, conflict coach and Master NLP Coach, she brings behavioural insight and advanced communication skills into her work with mediators. She is trained in mental health and complex conversations, is a Mental Health First Aider, and uses C-ME behavioural profiling to deepen understanding of interpersonal dynamics, all of which strengthens her ability to guide mediators through emotionally charged or high-pressure scenarios.

With more than two decades as an HR professional and as a tutor and assessor within the CIPD framework, Lizanne understands both the organisational context of conflict and the importance of structured, evidence-based development. She also contributes to the profession through her role on the Policy and Standards Committee at the College of Mediators.

Although her accreditation is in workplace mediation, her focus within the Practice Pathway is firmly on transferable mediation skills, helping newly and recently qualified mediators build confidence in structuring conversations, maintaining impartiality, managing emotion and strengthening reflective practice across all areas of mediation.
